The first phase of the New Hitit Turkish Teaching Set for Foreigners has been completed after two years of intensive work. Ankara University, TÖMER branches in Ä°stanbul, Ä°zmir, Tunalı (Ankara) and Kızılay (Ankara) have started using the first set, which consists of a Student’s book, a workbook
The New HititTurkish Teaching Set which has been renovated according to CEF (Common European Framework) will be used shortly in various language centres and Turcology departments of universities across Switzerland, Taiwan and South Korea which suggests that the New Hitit Set will be highly demanded in other countries where Turkish is taught as a foreign language, as well.
The New Hitit Turkish Teaching Set has been designed taking the descriptors of European Language Portfolio into consideration. The New Hitit Student’s book and the Workbook have been prepared with a thematic approach and have twelve units with appropriate exercises/activities for each skill level. The texts used in the book are supported by activities which aim the learning of the basic skills: Listening, Reading, Spoken Production, Spoken Interaction and Writing with simplified, clear instructions.
